Dear Parents,

On Sunday we had such a fun time reviewing what they have learnt about the holiday of Sukkot and learning in depth about the holiday of Simchat Torah.
The classes got to make all kinds of edible Sukkahs out of graham crackers, pretzels, and candy. Some classes got to make pizza Sukkahs which was pretty awesome!

The entire Hebrew School then had a scavenger hunt searching for different materials to build a Sukkah with. The students got into groups and came up with really original ideas, with the material they found, of how to build a kosher Sukkah.

We then learnt about Simchat Torah- the holiday in which we celebrate the Torah. Morah Leahs class even got to write with a real feather and ink- the same way in which a Sofer- a Jewish scribe writes  Sefer Torah.

Looking forward to another great day at Hebrew School!
